Tomar en bref
Tomar is a city in the district of Santarém, in the Middle Tejo region, with about 36,000 inhabitants in the municipality. Founded by the Templars, it is world-renowned for the Convent of Christ, classified as UNESCO World Heritage, and for its Festival of Trays. The city develops along the banks of the Nabão river, next to the National Forest of Seven Mountains.
